Hertfordshire 2008 Scratch League Division 5

WELL DONE & CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Aldenham are the League Division 5 Champions for 2008.

My thanks to all those who played for the team this year, especially the two who played all four matches, Ian Roche and Steve Rixon.
In 2009 we play the following teams: Brocket Hall (H), Chesfield Downs (A), Hadley Wood (A) Mill Green (A) and Panshanger (H).

PHILLIPS SAXON SCRATCH CUP held on 31st May.
Won by Callum Shinkwin with a gross 139. In the first round, Callum shot 68 which is now the Aldenham Amateur Course Record.

TIGERS
Any Aldenham Golf Club member with an official handicap between 4 and 10 will qualify to represent our Tigers Team. The squad is regularly rotated so all eligible members will enjoy the opportunity to represent our golf club at numerous stages throughout the season.
If you are considering joining our golf club, the opportunity to play for the Aldenham Tigers team should hopefully provide you with an incentive to either join us or improve your handicap to get in the team!!! We compete mid-week in the Herts Tigers League against twelve other pretigious golf clubs in the county.
We like to regard our Tigers League participation as 'serious fun'. Naturally, we want to win, but we also enjoy the opportunity it provides to both host and visit other fine golf clubs.
